cell phone

Well, about two days ago I woke up in the morning, but to the wrong alarm. Usually my cell phone alarm goes off to wake me up. That morning, the alarm never went off so I was wondering what had happened.

As the day went on I realized that my backgrounds, games, applications, emails, and more were all missing on my cell phone.

I tried restarting the phone. I tried taking off the back and pulling out the battery to let it reset itself. I tried everything possible that I could do before calling into the phone company.

Finally I gave in and went ahead and called after 2 days of the information not coming back. The man that helped me on the phone was very nice. He mentioned that the whole server for the type of phone that I have crashed. They were quickly tried to get it back up and I would be able to see when everything came back. He told me not to worry, that my information and programs were not lost, they were just in the air in limbo.

Yesterday was the first day that California's new cell phone law was enforced. The law says that drivers are prohibited from talking on their cell phone and holding the phone to their ear while driving. Drivers are allowed to buy a small hands-free device that attaches to the ear and talk on that while driving.
