My friend came over last night and we had so much fun. She lives very far from me now and we haven't seen each other for about a year and a half. I have missed her a lot and was very happy to see her again.

Unfortunately, she will be going back home on Thursday and I will probably not see her for another year or so.

It really stinks when a really good friend that you trust moves so far away, but at least you always know that when they are in town you will catch up and enjoy the time together once again.

Well, today I went to meet a friend that I haven't seen in a long time. It is so great to see familiar faces that you haven't seen in what seems like forever, and be able to share, laugh, and chat with them. A smile and a hug go a long way. They make you feel welcome and warm.
