shopping

Today I went grocery shopping. I got some bananas, milk, rice, beans, chicken, and some delicious oatmeal cookies.

As I was checking out at the check stand, the cashier told me a very interesting story about an experience that she had with her former live in nanny.

She really had a lot to say, but that was fine with me because I really did enjoy listening to the story that she was telling me.

Some people in life are very friendly to you and want to talk a lot. Other people just don't seem to ever be in a happy mood.

I am happy that I happened to be in that particular cashier's checkout line!

Now time for dinner!

I went shopping for sunglasses yesterday, although it really drove me crazy because I went into about 20 different stores and couldn't find a single pair that actually fit my face right.

The sun has been shining so bright lately and having glasses to protect your eyes is a necessity. My old glasses broke a few days ago and I have been dying since then.

The mall is a nice place to shop for sunglasses; there are a million different stores that have them. I went in and out of almost every one of the stores in the mall and couldn't find one pair of sunglasses that looked good on me and fit my face. My face is a little narrow and so I have to find the perfect pair to fit me.

This morning I got up extra early before work started and went into one store; they had nothing that was worth purchasing. I drove close by my work and went into another store. Alas! Finally I found the pair I was looking for! Happy now that I don't have to worry about shopping for another pair.

I went shopping today and got some really cute things...very tempting not to buy too much. You have to limit yourself. For many people, shopping is an addiction. It is hard to resist not buying too much. We have to think about the important things, the bills we have to pay, and the essentials of life before giving in to the temptation of having more "things".

We just need to think before we go shopping...know our limit...and bring cash instead of credit cards so that we only spend within our limit.

Take care all!
