Reporter: To most, he was known as Bernie Mac.
Actor: It's faded.
Bernie Mac; Yeah, but it's custom.
Reporter: Actor, comedian, Bernard McCullum died early Saturday morning at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. A publicist, for the 50 year old says he passed away from complications due to pneumonia. Mac also suffered from an inflammatory lung disease that had been in remission for the past 3 years. But, his publicist said that his death was not related to this condition.
The Emmy and Gold Globe nominated actor is also known for his Fox television series "The Bernie Mac Show". His film credits include roles in the Ocean's Eleven franchise. No word yet on whether public services will be held.
