Can someone tell me what is different between further and farther? Explain to me please.
Yuki
From what I have learned, farther expresses ideas of physical distance like "The supermarket is farther than my house." Further applies to everything else. "You are further in the book than I am."
Correct me if I am wrong anybody.
Good explanation Treefrog! I couldn't have said it better myself.

Thanks to you for the explanation. It helps me understand it more.
