Interviewer: There's Shakira...okay...I thought we were coming back with you but you're here.

Shakira: I'm here.

Interviewer: You've made it through the crowds, it's crazy right now.

Shakira: Yeah, I don't know how I made it, but I'm here.

Interviewer: Well, congratulations, here we are at the Grammys, music's biggest night.

Shakira: I know, you know, everybody's looking forward to th...this evening and you know, you think about it, so many people just spend all of their lives working so hard to get to the Grammys night and I'm here and I can't believe it.

Interviewer: Shakira, for you, and...and this is the perspective. You..you travel all over the world and in so many countries around the world you're well known. So, it's like everywhere you go it's like this.

Shakira: haha

Interviewer: It's true, yeah.

Shakira: You know, sometimes, when you're inside of...of...of the madness and...and in the center of the hurricane, you don't even realize it, you know. And uhh...but, its been, its been quite a few years doing this and I kind of got used to traveling and uh...and absorbing so much from each culture that I feel that I am a little bit from everywhere, you know.

Interviewer: You make me want to belly dance so badly.

Shakira; hahahaha

Interviewer: No, you d....it's like, I just wanna start.

Shakira: Oh, I would pray for that, I'd like to see you belly dance.

Interviewer: People would tune out. Who are you wearing tonight, it's a beautiful dress.

Shakira: Carolina Herrera.

Interviewer: Carolina Reya.

Shakira: Carolina Herrera. Carolina Herrera.

Interviewer: Oh, Carolina Arrera. Harera...Herrera...Herrera.

Shakira: But in Spanish it is Carolina Herrera. She's from Venezuela.

Interviewer: I'm from Georgia.

Shakira: Very good designer.

Interviewer: Have fun tonight, so great to see you.

Shakira: It's great to see you too.
