Learn How to Better Pronounce English Consonants - IPA Symbols

Learning the International Phonetic Alphabet for English is very beneficial in helping you to learn to pronounce words more accurately. These symbols are generally used in dictionaries in all languages. Learning the sounds will enable you to read the exact pronunciation of any word in the English language.

I have put together a couple of examples of each consonant sound so that you can get a better idea of what the sound should be like.

Make sure to practice this plenty of times to get the hang of the sounds. After you have learned all of the sounds you will be able to better pronounce words in English that you are not quite sure of how to say by using the symbols that are supplied in the dictionary when you look up that word.
