Hello and welcome to Blabbinit. This is Missy from southern California. Thanks for visiting our website and for listening to today's podcast. We are excited to have you with us.

During this podcast I would like to talk about planning for a trip. When we want to go on a trip, first we have to save money for the trip. Not everyone has money "on hand" to just go and travel. Most people have to save their money little by little in order to pay for their travel expenses.

Once you have the necessary money saved, you can select the dates that you would like to travel. Some people have to plan their vacations according to the days which are scheduled vacation days at their work. Other people have a certain amount of weeks off per year and can select the time that they prefer to take off. Although they probably have to ask their boss to approve their vacation days before they can take them.

Once your vacation days have been approved, you can look for tickets and/or make hotel reservations. This all depends on how far you will be traveling.

Some people like to go on cruises. My grandparents have travelled all around the world and they told me that cruises are the best because you get to the ship and once you get on the ship, everything is paid for. You can eat all you want, you room is already paid for as well, and you get to travel to different cities. Of course the only cost is when you get off the ship and you want lunch or want to go shopping. You have to pay for that.

Other people love to see the scenery of the country as they are traveling. These people either sleep in their car, camp, or stay in a motel or hotel each night. This is a great way to see a lot of the country while you are traveling by car.

For me, I prefer to take an airplane. I am not the type of person who likes to sit in a car for days. I would rather get in an airplane for hours and arrive to my destination much more quickly.

I typically buy my airplane tickets online. I look for a few weeks or months before I purchase my ticket. Once I have found a good deal, I purchase my airplane ticket online. If I am traveling to another country, I check if a visa is required. The visa would need to be approved before I bought my ticket. I wouldn't want to waste my money on the ticket should my visa be denied or take too long to be approved.
If you are traveling to another country and don't yet have your passport, you may want to order that far before your trip.

Traveling is always very exciting and a great way to see other places and experience new and different cultures. This helps to grow a respect for people from different places with different beliefs and ways of life.
